[Guide] How to server transfer

The following is a small guide to the server transfer :)

The instructions assume that your character is already “ready to move”.

This means, for example, that you no longer have any ongoing auctions, messages in the post or items/furniture in your home.

Step 0: Who can go where?

Step 1: Open your Gameforge client. But leave the game client closed.

If you are playing via Steam, you will find the link to open the account management via Steam login in the FAQ Server migration made easy and can continue with step 4.

Step 2: Click on the Settings button

Step 3: In the window that now opens, click on the cogwheel next to the game account on which the character to be transferred was created

Step 4: After clicking on the cogwheel, the web browser should open and display the account management. Now please click on the Next button under the heading “Transfer your character now!”

Step 5: The rules for the server transfer are now displayed.

Below this, all characters that have a server transfer stone and can be transferred are displayed as a drop-down menu.

In this example, there is one character on each of the servers Aynara, Kadmos and Kerub that could be transferred.

Now select the character you want and then, more importantly, choose the right target server where you want to go.

Finally, click on Register Character Transfer

Step 6: After clicking on Register Character Transfer, the following pop-up appears.

If you are absolutely sure, click Yes.

Don’t worry, if you change your mind, you can cancel your registration at any time until the next server maintenance.

Step 7: If you clicked Yes in step 6, your character will be registered for the server transfer.

All your registered characters with their origin and destination servers are listed at the bottom of the page.

Step 8: Wait for the next server maintenance or click Cancel Character Transfer if you have changed your mind or forgotten something.
