1. Normale Installation über Steam
2. Verknüpfung zur Client.exe im Steamverzeichnis erstellen (Default: C:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Runes of Magic)
3. Um den „normalen“ Account einzuloggen: Start über die Verknüpfung
4. Um den Steamaccount einzuloggen: Start über Steam

Hinweise:

• Es ist nicht möglich einen normalen Account mit dem Steamlogin oder den Steamaccount mit einem normalen Login einzuloggen (sofern die Accounts nicht verknüpft sind).
• Bei einem DC oder Fehler beim Login mit dem Steamaccount muss der Client neugestartet werden
• Der Steamlogin verbindet direkt zur Serverauswahl

Account mit Steam verbinden

Um einen Account mit Steam zu verbinden muss man sich zunächst über die Website in den Account einloggen.

Dort kann dann „Link to Steam“ ausgewählt werden [1].

Danach muss man sich nur mit seinen Steamlogindaten auf der Steamsite einloggen[2]

und der wird verknüpft oder es gibt einen Fehler, weil schon ein Account auf der Steamid verbunden ist[3].

Verknüpfter Account

Um einen Account von Steam zu trennen muss man sich zunächst über die Website in den Account einloggen.

Dort kann dann „Verknüpfung Lösen“ ausgewählt werden.

Durch Steam erstellter Account

Hier muss aktuell (stand 7.9.2018) eine Anfrage an den Support gestellt werden. Auf den Steamaccount kann nach dem Trennen nicht mehr zugegriffen werden.

Setup

1. Installation withSteam
2. Create Shortcut to „Client.exe“ in the Steam installation directory (Default: C:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Runes of Magic)
3. To Login to a „normal“ Account: Start the Game with the Shortcut
4. To Login the Steammaccount: Start the Game with Steam

Notes:

• It is impossible to login a normal account with steam or a steamaccount with the normal login (if the accounts aren’t linked).
• If you have a Loginerror or a Disconnect you have to restart the Client if you play with Steam
• Steam connects directly to the server selection

Link an Account to steam

To link an account to steam you have to login on the website

Select „Link to Steam“ [1].

Enter your Steam credentials on the following page[2]

=>Account will be linked or an errormessage will be visible[3].

Unlink an Account from steam

To unlink an account from steam you have to login on the website

Select „Unlink from Steam“ [not sure which text is used for english, if someone could write me the actual text it would be appreciated]

Account created by Steam

You have to write a Ticket to the support(as of 7.9.2018). You won’t be able to access the account after the unlinking took place.

Upgrade a steamaccount to a normal account
