–       General

The Warrior/Bewa is one of the strongest Chain DD classes alongside the Preserver and the Champion. It is one of the classes only available to elves. Basically, if you’re playing a Warrior/Preserver/Scout, you have access to all good chain DDs except the Champion with one piece of equipment. Therefore, if you want to play a warrior, you should generally play an elf.

The class is primarily played with a 2H weapon, but relies on the support of tanks and other warriors.

You can also play the class with a 1h weapon. This makes you a little more independent as far as warrior support is concerned, but he is of course still welcome.

If you have a Warmage in your party, keep kicking him until he presents you with opening attacks. Whether with 1h or 2h. that’s always cool.

–       Fitting and equipment

This point can be dealt with quite quickly. Chain equipment with 6x strength/physical attack. As a PDD, the highest possible PAtk value is essential for the fulfillment of this task.

Since the new edition of the Tomb City of Mirrors, it is recommended to use the 2H sword if you want to play with a 2H weapon. If you don’t have access to the Tomb City weapons, you should build the 2H axes of the instances below.

The sword should be used as a 1H weapon. You can use Annelia’s tank shield from Grafu for this. It has additional physical damage as a nonstat. Of course, you have to be careful with the aggro when making this choice.

–       Setskills

Energy recovery (Mementos Dalanis)

War Blade (Ice Blades)

Attack position (bone point)

Pass guard (Grotto of Horror)

Protection of the Iron Light Mage (Bethomia)

–       Rotation

A macro or combat engine is generally recommended for warriors/preservers due to the way they play. (Kitty, Diyce)

The high DMG output of the Preserver comes from the fact that the Charged Slash itself does not trigger a Global Cool Down, but only has 1 second CD, which it shares with Power of the Tree Spirit.

For the Rota this generally means that you can always set Charged Slash and one additional skill per Global Cooldown segment. It is possible to control the whole thing by hand, but most people who can do this will not need this guide either way.

o    Kitty Combo for the warrior/preserver 2H:

Overview of Das Kitty:

States as follows:

Tactical attack:

Wild whirlwind:

No condition in the standard Rota.

Open flank and attack weakening:

Opening attack:

Chop:

Hieb spams you otherwise empty your anger. Slash should only be used when you can’t do anything else due to cooldowns.

At the beginning of the fight you should press a slash with your hand once to have it as a debuff for Tactical Attack.

The attentive warrior sees this Rota and thinks to himself: Hey. Where is the loaded blow?

As mentioned above, you can always press a normal skill in addition to the Charged Slash. That’s why we write the loaded blow into the macro itself before the kitty rotation.

Macro:

/cast Charged blow

/run Kitty.attack(“WWd_2h”)

/cast attack

Burst rotation:

For even better DMG when running an InI with full support, you can build an additional rotation. We can simply copy the old rotation:

Then simply rename this rotation so that the macro really controls the correct rotation:

For better use in the fullburst, we add the attack position and 2 additional states in the rotation:

Attack position:

Tactical attack:

All other skills remain unchanged.

Macro for the 2nd rotation:

/cast Charged blow

/run Kitty.attack(“WWd_2hBurst”)

/cast attack

–       Buffrotations

o    Boss rotation DD Preserver/Warrior (Ident at 1h and 2h):

Caviar sandwich

Energy recovery through casting

Berserker

Aggressiveness

Start music

Wild power

Strong stimulant

Extinction potion

Wait until the music is through

BK title

Combat strength (If you have to take rest powder, this can be replaced with universal potion or the cloak of wrath)

Frenzy

Onslaught

Chop

Then bang through your rotation.

–       Bufffood:

Standard DD buffs are almost always sufficient.

Maid Patk

Wedding food attributes and Dex/Str/Patk

Transformation: Str/Dex 20% or similar.

Heroic potion

Patk/dmg Food

Everything else depends on the group. Basically: the more Patk the better.

Also always check whether you have activated your own long-term buffs, such as Pass Guard or Fighting Faith

Additionally, even if it doesn’t necessarily count as buff food: The class needs a lot of mana so always keep mana potions on CD 😊
